DeWeese Farm's Peter Pan
Meet DeWeese Farm’s Peter Pan! Peter Pan is a registered and certified Rocky Mountain gelding. Peter was born on September 9th, 2018. He stands 15.2HH. He has the best personality and loves to be pampered. He has spent October-July with the Embry Family Horse Trainers for a refresher and to gain trail riding experience. While he has been there, he has been exposed to many types of trails including rocky creeks, deep ravines, boggy areas, sand and loose footing. He has also climbed steep trails up and down the river bluffs, crossed wide open spaces and busted the brush. He even went through the Hardee's Drive Thru and picked up lunch! He is so willing and tries very hard! He has been trail ridden alone and with other horses. He will lead, but is happier in the middle or rear. He has been exposed to country traffic and ATVs. He has excellent ground manners!
Peter has a beautiful gait and is consistent. He can go barefoot or be shod with regular shoes all the way around with no special shoeing requirements to attain his beautiful Rocky Mountain show gait. Peter is best suited for an experienced and confident rider, due to him having less than a year of trail riding experience. Peter has gained miles and miles of trail riding experiences with the Embry Family in training. He truly enjoys a rider who will talk to him and give him encouragement and praise.
We are not using him enough to justify keeping him when someone else could be enjoying his fun personality every day. We purchased Peter Pan as a 2-year-old with sights on showing and trail riding him. Unfortunately, the Rocky Mountain Horse Association has only three divisions and we have too many horses in the same division with not enough shows throughout the year to show Peter. Peter Pan has shown at a weekend National Mountain Horse show by a trainer and was shown by a juvenile rider at the 2023 Rocky Mountain Horse International winning a second place finish in the Youth 11 and under Show Pleasure Class. While he has only recently started gaining trail riding exposure, he has handled everything very well and enjoys new experiences with his rider. DF's Worth More Than Gold
Meet "DF's Worth More Than Gold". Worth is a registered and certified Rocky Mountain gelding. Worth was born on May 30th, 2021. He stands 15 HH, is 5 years of age and has gorgeous chocolate color with a flaxen mane and tail. He has the best personality and loves to be pampered. Worth has a very smooth and natural four beat gait. He can just glide! He is a fantastic trail mount. He has experience with many types of trails including rocky creeks, deep ravines, boggy areas, sand and loose footing. He has also climbed steep trails up and down the river bluffs, crossed wide open spaces and busted the brush. He is so willing and tries very hard! He has been trail ridden alone and with other horses. He will lead, ride in the middle, or at the rear. He is fine with country traffic and ATVs. He has excellent ground manners! Worth has a beautiful gait and is consistent. He can go barefoot or be shod. He is sound and healthy. Worth is well suited for a confident intermediate or higher skilled rider due to everything being a learning experience at his young age. He will give his best to please his rider. He has nice ground manners. He will stand for the farrier or vet. He is comfortable tied overhead, to a hitching post, cross ties or trailer. He loads into a straight load, slant or stock trailer. He will back out. Worth has it all... brains, gait, training, and looks!
